As part of a site evaluation at UConn Health in Farmington, CT, OCC contracted CorBuilt to perform a specialized Underground Storage Tank (UST) investigation. The objective was to confirm the location and orientation of a suspected tank and identify any related utility conflicts or environmental risks.

Using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Electro Magnetic Induction (EMI), and soil conductivity scanning, CorBuilt located the UST and mapped associated piping routes and potential anomalies. The investigation enabled OCC and facility engineers to proceed with remediation planning and environmental compliance confidently.

Project Outcome:

  • Tank Located: Accurate depth, size, and positioning of the UST confirmed

  • Risk Reduction: Helped avoid unintentional disturbance of buried systems

  • Environmental Readiness: Supported regulatory documentation and planning

CorBuilt brings clarity to complex subsurface challenges—ensuring safety above and below ground.
